Impervioused Surfaces

A common circumstance which often damages the environment is sealing.

First, you can see a significant reduction of the habitats which are interesting for Insects. Examples are parking lots, paved areas, but also driveways. In addition, sealing prevents the growth of an ecosystem – it is unlikely that any forest will grow on the street.

Without contradiction, closed surfaces (asphalt, concrete, pavement) have a negative effect on the groundwater. The result is a reduction in the resources available to an ecosystem.
